Our new RDS stuff
I am very happy to announce the creation of our new RDS board displays and shows at the top of this board. Now, in addition to the Board of the Week (BotW) thumbnail we have also added a Board of the Month (BotM) thumbnail and two shows.
The first show is called "RB Popular Site" and it displays a random BotW winners thumbnail from the Runboard Wall of Honor.
The second show is called the "RB Outstanding Site" show and it displays a random BotM winners thumbnail. Current BotM winners have a small trophy in the lower left corner of their thumbnail. The current BotY winner has a small trophy in the upper left corner of their thumbnail.
All four thumbnails are also tooltipped (which means if you move your cursor over the pick a little text box appears with the name of the message board. Plus, if you right click on the pick you will have the option of actually going to that board in either a new browser tab or window.

Been through that fire several times myself....I know what you all mean.
But I just go along for fun now......I mean I only have all of 6 members for real now. So, there is no chance of anything like Board of the Year....but it's fun to play, and if you go into it with just the fun part and the helping to promote Runboard part in your mind...then it's not so wild a ride!

And it helps Runboard overall, lets lots of people check out all the different types of boards that Runboard can have, and some people even bring over friends from other places, who become members of Runboard...

Announcing the 5+ year board additions to our "RB Outstanding Site" show. I have established some guidelines for boards which have been in past RDS competitions that I believe merits their inclusion to this show. To be included in the show a board must:
1. Be at least 5 years old
2. Have won at least a BotW in our RDS competitions
3. Must still be active
4. Have at least one open forum where new or potential members can post
5. Have at least 10,000 posts (avg 2,000 posts per year)
The qualifying boards will have a gold star on their thumbnail to separate them from the current years RDS BotM winners.
