Forum help
How do you make a certain forum on a message board that only allows admins and mods to view it and post in it? Also, I haven't looked, but is there a way to give custom titles to people on yout forum?

To Make a Forum Only Viewable for Admins/Mods
go to
Board management Control Panel>> Click on the Security Management Tab>>Click on Advanced Security Settings>> Scroll Down to The Tab With the Name of the Forum you want to Make an Admin/Mod Forum only.
Where it say:
Read access:
Require membership
Read access:
Require membership
Membership gaining method:
Invite-only membership
So it should Look like this: (Click to enlarge)
Then Save The Settings. The Admins will be able to enter that Forum.. but the Mods won't unless you go back to that page and Click Where it says See members
And There you simply add the New User...
Custom Titles
go to
Board management Control Panel>> Click on the Security Management Tab>>Click the Manage user levels and Custom titles Tab.
The Click on Define User Levels.
Level 1000 is used to change Head Administrator's custom title.
Level 999 is used to change Administrator's custom title.
Level 998 is used to change Moderator's custom title.
For regular user custom titles, please use levels between 100 and 800.
