Tips
In the post about your board, you should tell people what the focus of your board is and what's good about it. Be honest, but don't say bad things.
Refrain from lamenting a lack of members, and don't offer mod or admin positions. For most people, this doesn't sound like a well-run board, because staff should be chosen with care, and members hate to be begged to join.
If you know how to do it, you're welcome to include a screen shot of your board, but it isn't necessary. You do have to include the link, though.
Come back regularly after putting in your first post, and keep people updated about what's going on at your board. Layout changes, breaking member records, that kind of thing can help to bring attention to your board. It also shows you are dedicated enough to care.
Happy runboarding!
