Hi Queeny,

Glad to see you back emoticon

I do that kind of stuff as well almost everyday and it is so cool to see how happy it makes people. Today's holiday is a bit different though, looking around the house it is amazing to suddenly "discover" something you had totally forgotten about that you just know will make someone else happy. emoticon

GOOD WEDNESDAY MY FRIENDS!

WOW! Did it rain last night. I did not get much sleep, thunder, lightening and rain coming down in buckets. Does not bother me, instead I love it so much, I have to stay awake! LMAO I get energized from a fantastic storm..... Today not much, drying all the outside rugs and might change the cat boxes. Certainly NOT mowing the lawn, as we have more rain today and tonight and tomorrow. Hubby will have to wait till Saturday.....no biggie, we have a load to go to the dump anyways. Especially if we can get that danged crab apple stump out! Today at 3pm I have my physical therapy appointment. He'll probably chew on my behind for using an axe, shovel and mattock last weekend, cause my thumb ligament is almost back to the beginning....Opps! Well, can't expect someone to NOT use their thumb.....seriously. Before the appointment I need to drop off a load of green beans to Mom and Dad...picked 3 one gallon sized bags full as well as 15 tomatoes yesterday. Neighbors have started to lock their doors when they see us coming! LMAO Anywho...I'll be around till early afternoon. Have a great day gang. emoticon

GOOD THURSDAY MY FRIENDS!

Well PT went well yesterday. Doc did not holler at me as much as I thought he would. He actually said it was good I was using it as normal, though he did say, he was not sure swinging an axe was completely normal. LOL That way we could see if it was getting better. Still hurts when used certain ways, but no 'deep tooth ache type pain' even when not used. So making progress. I have another appointment next Tuesday.
I forgot Monday was a holiday, so our garbage pickup won't be till tomorrow, so I can change the cat boxes today. Sure won't be mowing before they come, it rained buckets again last night. More coming today and even tomorrow. Well it should help put out the fires burning about us. Though the lightening strikes might start a few more! And all the rain, has us under a flash flood watch. Oh well...go with the flow. I'll be around today, off and on. HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE...

Afternoon all. Back from the vet and doing laundry. Feels strange not to be at work on a Thursday.

Good Monday My Friends!

Well we had a busy weekend, again! Saturday, hubby and I managed to get the rest of that tree stump, gravel, and weed barrier dug up, then mowed the lawn, trimmed all the dead iris and tulips off and made a dump run. The lady at the weigh in (they weigh your load going in and out, to make sure you don't take stuff home!)...our load weighted in at 1,078 pounds! emoticon And we loaded that all from the backyard, wheelbarrow, by wheelbarrow at a time.... Then Sunday, Hubby filed in the hole, while I cleaned house. Lucky for us, Mom decided she wanted a good old fashioned Sunday dinner, so we had a fabulous meal and I did not have to cook! LOL Today, washing up the bedding and catching up on line. Surprisingly, my hand does not hurt to bad. And I found out that this old lady can still swing an axe with about 98% accuracy! LOL I was surprised, but Dad taught me well. emoticon

Good morning everyone. I am truly blessed by my hobbies. One of them is medieval recreation so I have dozens of candles around my home when the power goes out!

At 8PM tonight I am hoping to be home so I can do my part for World Suicide Prevention Day. I try to remember this every year but sometimes forget. It's a easy thing to do, just light a candle in one of my windows as close to 8PM as I can to to show my support for suicide prevention and to remember a lost loved one or friend who thought there was no other way to be at peace. Will you join me?

Good FRIDAY my Friends! I took the photo above last night. Below is the whole thing, and the left and right sides.

Well, we've been getting rain off and on all night. But we are still supposed to be close to 90 today, 93 tomorrow and 91 on Sunday. NEXT week we cool off some. Can't wait....it's been to hot for to long! So not sure what today will bring. Tomorrow is Hubby's Bday, I know we are heading to Boise with Mom and Dad they are treating and hubby is picking where he wants his Bday dinner at. Other than that....not sure. I don't have to cook tonight either. Mom invited us out for Burgers and homemade fries...........Dad has potatoes coming on like crazy! LOL Sounds like my green beans. Anywho....probably get a bit of cleaning done, catch up on the boards...We had the most gorgeous FULL rainbow last night....here are 3 pics of it....Full, Right and Left sides.

24 Days and counting! And it's the weekend! Crowley's happy about that.

Morning everyone. Ah what a difference a day makes. It is absolutely beautiful out. No humidity and only in the 60's. I have the windows wide open letting the breeze in.

Autumn mornings: sunshine and crisp air, birds and calmness, year's end and day's beginnings. ~Terri Guillemets

Well GOOD MONDAY MY FRIENDS!

We had an interesting weekend. Saturday was Hubby's Birthday, so we went to Boise (mom and Dad did not feel like going)...and we wandered through a huge RV Show.....then hit some outdoor stores and then went to Joe's Crab shack for dinner. But then Sunday we had to rebuild some of our 8 foot tall wood fencing in the back yard. BECAUSE Friday when I fed our two feral kittens, hubby looked out and saw a HUGE SKUNK eating their food! HE said......." I AM NOT FEEDING SKUNKS!"....So, I said I thought they trusted me enough to coax them inside with food. And I did....and slide the door behind them closed. After they finished their breakfast, I gently petted them and the just picked one up at a time and took them to our spare room. Both are in there now...food, water, litter box. AND I SURVIVED with NO bites or scratches. I think they have tamed down a lot! So.......we now have 6 INDOOR cats. I still will see Momma outside, feed her and leave NOTHING afterwards for the Skunks. And we fixed all the fencing...SHEESH! But, I don't have to worry about the kittens getting squashed or hurt.....and Momma does not have to worry about old Toms and providing for babies. She's fixed and live her own little quite life... Anywho....quite a weekend. OH AND WE HAD THUNDER STORMS that totally rocked! Lasting from a few minutes to 2 full hours of non stop lightening....WHEW! LOVE IT! Well today it's laundry day, and I need to help Dad get his grass clippings to the dump. But other than that, I'll be online a bit..

Good morning, I am getting stuff ready for "Fall Repairs." This is the much neglected sister to the famous "Spring Cleaning." The plan is to have all my porches rebuilt before Halloween and to find (and fix) the stupid leak that has started somewhere around my bathroom skylight...

GOOD MONDAY MY FRIENDS!
Had a good weekend.....Saturday, hubby and I grabbed Dads trailer and trimmed all our bushes and shrubs, ended up with a whole trailer load to the dump. Sunday, we took off to Boise, wandered through the Lowes, looking at prices for do-it-yourself patio awnings. And then hit the mall and ate out Olive garden.
I won't be online much TODAY....Have to take the car into the shop. The "Check Airbag" warning keeps coming on. Should not cost anything, still definitely covered. But will cost me time.....not sure how long I will have to wait. If they need it over night. I'll call Dad to come get me. But they are going grocery shopping this morning, so I won't be home till Noon at least. ANYWHO...hope you all have a wonderful Monday! Catch you when I can.

UPDATE FROM MORNING POST.

Well, the car was an easy fix. Hooked up to their computer and reset sensor. 5 minutes tops. The rest of this time, I've been watching my DVR of CHER on the Today show and with Cathy and Hoda...I NEVER watch either of those shows.....BUT.....I am a Cher fan from the late early 70's.....and she can still rock it and make me laugh with her interviews at age 67.....she is a true Diva and awesome lady.....mistakes and all. She is human and Incredible. Will be downloading latest CD "Closer to the Truth," coming out tomorrow.

PASTOR... hope you find that leak. I swear on hubby and my first old mobile home, I must have used 10 gallons of "Henry's Wet Patch" trying to patch up every leak....finally had the whole danged roof coated before it stopped! emoticon
