help! avatar wont show!
Hi, im sorry but ive tried everythin i can think of to get my avatar shwoing. Pls help!
I used Image shack to convert a file (pic) to be able to be hotlinked and i pressed 'host icon' and then chose the forum 1 hotlink. i copied and pasted it into my avatar section in the miscellaneos settings but it wouldnt show on my board.
Maybe it was because of the size (would only go down to 100x75)
When i pasted the link into the avatar section, i pressed subnit changes and it said the link must begin with http, so i took off the {URL} bit at the front and then it said 'successfully changed'.... but the avatar still didnt show.
Does it matter where you get the picture from? I downloaded the pic from an msn site, saved it onto my documents and then used image shack to provide the hotlink.
I just dont know how to do it.
Why are computers so annoying???

That's what you put as your avatar...Just put in http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/1637/celeb044yo6.gif
Nothing else...The rest is BBCode and not what is used for your avatar...

then the image that i want will show as my avatar?
or how do i get the image i want?
