Banner
How do I get a custom banner that I have created to show on my board? I have a default one, and would like to change it.

Re: Banner
1) Before you can put your own banner onto your board, you have to set your layout as "custom" layout. (Save all your html and CSS before you do so, if you have any already.)
Then you have to choose / create a picture, host it with an imagehost like imageshack or photobucket, and enter the url into the community logo box in the "edit layout and colors" section.
2) Go to "moderator's options" >security settings > advanced security settings. Click on the button called "See members" in the upper left hand corner. You'll get a member list where you can delete members.
This works for individual forums, as well, if you want to use restricted forums.
I hope that helps.

Re: Banner
Thanks.
But I still have some other blue thing underneath that, is that removable? And how do I make the banner be in focus?

The blue thing can be removed by deleting the code that is currently in your Custom HTML area ( Control panel>Board Management>Edit layout /colors of your board>Manage Custom HTML content.
To sharpen up the banner image, you need to go to Control panel>Board Management>Edit layout /colors of your board).
Move down the page to 'Community logo options' and change the width/height from 720 x 200 to 706 x 195.

Re: Banner
Ok thanks everybody again, it worked .
And, (sorry, but I still have one question up my sleeve) is it possible to get a url different than the one it came with? Because the URL is bmrhs81, rather than the easier mrhs, which is the initials of the school. Thanks again.

Re: Banner
The "b" in the url stands for board. That can't be changed, unfortunately.
